First of all, I'll give you a quick idea on what is mob manning. Mob manning is basically reporting back to camp within 2 hours once the silhoutte green army man flashes on TV or movies or aired on radio with the codeword along. There's different stages of mob manning but I won't get there because it's very complex. Alright. Got it already you fellow young reader? Feel a little bit smarter now? Good. So next time when you ask me out on a weekend and I said I have manning, don't respond with a "Manning tu ape sia?!" Here's the story. Our manning were scheduled on a day around this week. The NSF seniors already suspected it'll happen on weekends. We pack our field pack items, waterproofing and air tighting them. It was just plain tedious. Had an inspection yesteday, yesterday as in Saturday which means partial of my weekend wasted away in camp. I failed the inspection over an unimportant reason. So we waited a little bit more at camp for the manning to be activated. But did it happen? No, it did not. Can already see my Sunday burnt off too. Today - which is a Sunday - I was forced to wait for the activation from the moment I woke till late afternoon but still no sign of green army man out on TV. Slept the whole afternoon through with the TV on and my handphone right beside my ear in case any incoming calls but no. Nothing fucking happened. Good thing is I got to really rest up and recharge Like Paramore said, "Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone". Bad thing is, son of a bitch, I'm suppose to be out with her. Fenderson out... |
